Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 blocks (8 oz / 225 g each) cream cheese, cut into chunks
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
½ cup chicken broth
Optional: fresh parsley or chives for garnish
Instructions
Place the raw chicken breasts in the bottom of the crock pot in a single layer.
Sprinkle the chicken evenly with salt, black pepper, paprika, and onion powder.
Add the minced garlic on top.
Pour the chicken broth around the chicken (not directly on top).
Place the cream cheese chunks evenly over the chicken breasts.
Cover and cook on LOW for 5–6 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
Once cooked, stir gently to combine the melted cream cheese into a creamy sauce. For a shredded version, shred the chicken with two forks and mix well.
Garnish with fresh parsley or chives if desired and serve warm.
