Black pepper, to taste
2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped (optional, for garnish)
Lemon slices, for serving (optional)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
Arrange the scallops in a single layer in the prepared baking dish.
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, and lemon juice. Season with salt and black pepper.
Pour the garlic butter sauce evenly over the scallops.
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the scallops are opaque and tender (do not overcook).
