6–8 sausages (pork, beef, chicken, or turkey)
1 large onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup broth (chicken or beef)
2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon black pepper
Salt, to taste
Optional: fresh herbs (thyme or rosemary), bell peppers, or mustard
Instructions
Prepare the Base
Place the sliced onion and minced garlic in the bottom of a slow cooker or deep pan. Drizzle with olive oil or add butter.
