Slow Cooker Chicken Thighs with Simple Add-Ins

Description
This slow cooker chicken thighs recipe is the perfect answer for busy days when you want a comforting, home-cooked meal with very little effort. Raw chicken thighs are placed directly into the slow cooker along with a handful of simple pantry ingredients. As the chicken simmers slowly all afternoon, it becomes incredibly tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The slow cooking process allows the seasonings and sauce to soak deeply into the meat, creating a rich and satisfying dish that pairs well with rice, mashed potatoes, or vegetables.

Ingredients
6–8 raw chicken thighs (bone-in or boneless, skin-on or skinless)
1 packet dry onion soup mix (or 1 chopped onion)
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup chicken broth
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon dried thyme or oregano

Preparation Method
Place the raw chicken thighs in a single layer at the bottom of the slow cooker.

Sprinkle the dry onion soup mix evenly over the chicken.

Add the minced garlic, paprika, black pepper, and dried herbs.

In a bowl, mix the chicken broth with the cream of chicken soup, then pour the mixture over the chicken.

Cover the slow cooker with the lid.
Cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or on HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is very tender and fully cooked.

Taste and adjust seasoning if needed before serving.

Serving Suggestions
Serve the chicken with white rice, mashed potatoes, or buttered noodles, and spoon the rich sauce over the top. Add a side of steamed vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
