Garlic Butter Steak Lightning Noodles

Rich, garlicky, buttery noodles tossed with juicy steak — fast, bold, and insanely satisfying

Ingredients

12 oz linguine
1 lb sirloin steak
2 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
Salt & black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the Noodles
Boil linguine in salted water until al dente. Drain and reserve a little pasta water.

2️⃣ Cook the Steak
Season steak with salt and pepper.
Heat 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear steak 3–5 minutes per side (medium-rare to medium).
Remove, rest 5 minutes, then slice thinly.

3️⃣ Garlic Butter Sauce
In the same skillet, melt remaining butter.
Add garlic and sauté 1–2 minutes until fragrant (don’t burn).

4️⃣ Toss the Noodles
Add linguine to the skillet and toss in garlic butter.
Add a splash of pasta water if needed for silky texture.

5️⃣ Combine
Add sliced steak and toss everything together until well coated.

6️⃣ Serve
Garnish with parsley and serve hot

Serving Ideas

  • Add Parmesan for extra richness
  • Serve with a green salad or roasted veggies
  • Finish with chili flakes for heat
