Keto Chaffle Recipe (Cheese + Waffle = Chaffle)


Ingredients (for 2 waffles)

1 large egg

½ cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar, or a mix)

Optional: 1 tbsp almond flour (for extra crispness)

Optional: pinch of baking powder (for fluffier texture)

Optional seasonings: garlic powder, onion powder, or everything bagel seasoning

Instructions

Preheat Your Waffle Maker

Heat a mini or regular waffle maker (like Dash or standard size).

Lightly spray with nonstick oil if needed.

Make the Batter

In a bowl, whisk the egg, then add shredded cheese and optional almond flour or seasonings.

Stir until well combined.

Cook the Chaffles

Pour half of the mixture into the waffle maker.

Cook for 3–5 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.

Repeat for the second chaffle.

Serve & Enjoy

Let cool slightly (they crisp up more as they cool).

Serve with keto sausage, bacon, or even sugar-free syrup for a breakfast twist.
