Instructions:
- In a small saucepan, combine the fruit juice, lemon juice, and water. Heat over medium heat until warm, but do not boil.
- Sprinkle the gelatin powder over the juice mixture and whisk until fully dissolved.
- Stir in the granulated sugar and continue heating until the mixture is fully combined and the sugar dissolves.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
- Pour the mixture into a silicone mold or a lightly greased baking dish to create your desired gumdrop shape.
- Allow the mixture to set at room temperature for several hours, or until firm. You can also place it in the refrigerator to speed up the setting process.
- Once set, remove the gumdrops from the mold or cut them into cubes if using a baking dish.
- Roll each gumdrop in granulated sugar, coating them evenly. Optionally, dust with cornstarch to prevent sticking.
