How To Prepare Simple Homemade Beef Burgers

Ingredients

  • Ground beef (80/20 for juiciness), 500 g
  • Small onion, finely grated, 1
  • Garlic, minced, 1 clove
  • Egg, 1
  • Breadcrumbs, 3 tablespoons
  • Salt, 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper, ½ teaspoon
  • Paprika, ½ teaspoon
  • Oil for cooking, as needed

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground beef, grated onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix gently until just combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into burger patties.
  3. Heat a pan or grill over medium heat and lightly oil it.
  4. Cook the patties for 4–5 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked through.
  5. Rest for 1–2 minutes before serving in buns or with your favorite sides.
