Ingredients
7 mini sweet peppers, halved and seeded
¼ lb ground beef
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
42 mini pepperonis (or thinly sliced pepperoni stick)
Sun of Italy Italian seasoning mix
Garlic powder (optional)
Rao’s pizza sauce
Instructions
Preheat oven
Set oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prep the peppers
Place the pepper halves on a lined baking sheet.
Mix the filling
Combine the ground beef with Rao’s pizza sauce.
Assemble
Spoon the beef mixture into each pepper half.
Top with shredded mozzarella.
Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and garlic powder if desired.
Add 3 mini pepperonis to each pepper.
Bake
Bake for 10–20 minutes, depending on your oven, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
