Special CASSAVA CAKE


Ingredients:

  • 5 cups grated cassava
  • 2 cups coconut milk
  • ¾ cup evaporated milk
  • ½ can condensed milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 2 egg whites

Toppings [mix well]

  • 2 egg yolks
  • ½ can condensed milk
  • ¾ cup coconut cream
  • grated cheese

Methods:
Grate the cassava, squeeze a little. Set aside the juice for 20 minutes and separate the starch after. Put the starch into the grated cassava. Add all the ingredients except the toppings: Mix until well combined.

Grease the baking pan with butter, pour in the cassava mixture. Bake for 50-1 hour 200°C or until the top is firm and lightly golden. Remove from oven and spread the topping mixture evenly over the surface. Sprinkle the grated cheese on top. Return to the oven and bake for another 20-25 minutes or until the topping is bubbly.
