How To Prepare Haystack Cookies:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 2 cups chow mein noodles
  • Optional: ½ cup chopped peanuts or shredded coconut

Instructions:

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and butterscotch chips together in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  3. Gently fold in the chow mein noodles (and optional peanuts or coconut) until evenly coated.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, shaping into small mounds.
  5. Let set at room temperature or refrigerate for about 20–30 minutes until firm.
  6. Serve and enjoy!
