This Steak Alfredo Penne Pasta is a decadent dish combining tender steak with creamy Alfredo sauce, served over hearty penne pasta. It’s the perfect meal for any steak lover craving something rich and indulgent!
Ingredients:
12 oz penne pasta
1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or your favorite cut)
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 ½ cups heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
½ tsp Italian seasoning
Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Preparation:
Cook the pasta:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions. Drain the pasta, reserving about 1 cup of pasta water for later use. Set aside.
Cook the steak:
While the pasta cooks, season the steak with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak and cook to your desired doneness (about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare). Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing it thinly against the grain.
Make the Alfredo sauce:
In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Let it cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cream thickens slightly.
Finish the sauce:
Stir in the Parmesan cheese and cook until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, add some of the reserved pasta water, a tablespoon at a time, until it reaches your desired consistency. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combine the pasta and steak:
Add the cooked penne pasta to the Alfredo sauce and toss to coat the pasta evenly. Gently fold in the sliced steak.
Serve:
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Enjoy:
This Steak Alfredo Penne Pasta is a rich, creamy, and comforting dish that’s sure to impress. Perfect for a special dinner or when you’re craving something indulgent
