Keto Baked Cream Cheese Chicken


Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

4 oz cream cheese, softened

½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

2 tbsp mayonnaise (or sour cream)

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp onion powder

½ tsp paprika

½ tsp Italian seasoning (or dried parsley + oregano)

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tbsp olive oil or butter (for searing, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven

Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil or butter.

  1. Prepare the Chicken

Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.

Season both sides with salt, pepper, onion powder, and paprika.

(Optional) Quickly sear each side in a skillet with a little oil for 2 minutes to lock in flavor.

  1. Mix the Creamy Topping

In a small bowl, mix together:

Cream cheese

Mayonnaise (or sour cream)

Minced garlic

Italian seasoning

Spread this mixture evenly over the top of each chicken breast.

  1. Add Cheese

Sprinkle a generous layer of cheddar and mozzarella on top of each piece.

Place the chicken in the prepared baking dish.

  1. Bake

Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temp 165°F / 74°C).

For a golden crust, broil for the last 2–3 minutes.

  1. Serve

Let rest for a few minutes, then serve with keto sides like:

Roasted broccoli

Cauliflower mash

Zucchini noodles
