- 2 chicken breasts, sliced in half
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 4 burger buns
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Pickles (optional)
Instructions
- Mix buttermilk with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add chicken and marinate for 30 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
- Coat the marinated chicken in the dry mixture and let rest for 5 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry chicken until golden and crispy.
- Mix cabbage, carrots, mayonnaise, lemon juice, honey, and olive oil to make the coleslaw.
- Toast the burger buns lightly.
- Assemble by layering chicken, coleslaw, and pickles inside the buns.
