Recipe: Perfect Juicy Steak Bites
Ingredients
2 lbs (900 g) beef steak (skirt, flank, sirloin, or tri-tip)
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter (optional for finishing)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt (or to taste)
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
Fresh rosemary or thyme (optional for aroma)
Instructions
Prep the Beef
Pat the steak dry with paper towels.
Slice into thick strips (against the grain for tenderness).
Season
Mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
Coat the beef strips evenly on all sides.
(Optional) Add Worcestershire sauce for deeper flavor. Marinate 30 minutes if you have time.
Cook
Heat a heavy skillet or grill pan on high heat until very hot.
Add the beef strips in a single layer (do not overcrowd).
Sear for 2–3 minutes per side for medium-rare, or longer if you prefer more doneness.
Finish
Add butter and fresh herbs during the last minute of cooking, tossing the steak to coat.
Rest & Serve
Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing or serving to keep the juices inside.
Enjoy with rice, mashed potatoes, salad, or in tacos!
