These homemade chocolate energy balls are everything

Soft, chewy, naturally sweet, and coated in a rich layer of dark chocolate for that perfect crunch. They make the best little snack—pre-workout, after work, or when you just need something sweet without the guilt!

Ingredients (base):

Oats

Cocoa powder

Peanut butter or almond butter

Honey or dates for sweetness

A pinch of salt

Optional: chia seeds, crushed nuts, protein powder

Chocolate coating:

Melted dark chocolate

A teaspoon of coconut oil (makes the coating smoother and shinier)

How to make them:

  1. Blend all the base ingredients until they form a sticky dough.
  2. Roll into small balls and chill them for 15–20 minutes.
  3. Dip each ball into the melted chocolate to coat completely.
  4. Place on parchment paper and refrigerate until the chocolate hardens.
