Ingredients:
1 egg (or substitute with ¼ cup curd OR ¼ cup condensed milk)
¼ cup sugar (if using condensed milk, reduce to 2 tbsp)
¼ tsp vanilla essence
2 tbsp oil
⅓ cup all-purpose flour
2 tbsp cocoa powder
½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp baking soda
¼ cup milk
Instructions:
In a bowl, whisk egg with sugar until soft peaks.
Add vanilla essence and oil, mix well.
Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and baking soda.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture alternately with milk, mixing gently until smooth.
Grease a 6 inch cake pan, line with baking paper, and pour in the batter.
bake in a preheated oven at 160c for 30–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
