Creamy Tuscan Chicken Penne Pasta

This dish combines tender seasoned chicken with a luscious cream sauce infused with garlic, sundried tomatoes, spinach, and Parmesan. It’s cozy, restaurant-worthy, and packed with flavor β€” everything you want in a hearty pasta dinner!

For the Chicken

1 chicken breast, seasoned with:

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

Β½ tsp Italian seasoning

Salt & pepper

1 tbsp olive oil

For the Pasta & Sauce

2 cups cooked penne pasta

1 tbsp butter

3 garlic cloves, minced

Β½ cup sundried tomatoes (in oil), sliced

1 cup spinach

1 cup heavy cream (or half & half)

ΒΌ cup pasta water

Β½ cup grated Parmesan

Β½ tsp chili flakes (optional)

Salt & pepper to taste

  1. Cook the Chicken

Season chicken with paprika, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt & pepper.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Cook chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.

Let rest, then slice.

  1. Make the Creamy Sauce

In the same skillet, melt butter.

Add garlic and sautΓ© 1 minute.

Stir in sundried tomatoes.

Pour in heavy cream and pasta water, stirring well.

Add Parmesan and let it melt into a creamy sauce.

Add spinach and let it wilt.

Season with salt, pepper, and chili flakes.

  1. Combine

Add cooked penne into the skillet.

Toss until fully coated in the sauce.

Top with sliced chicken.

  1. Serve

Garnish with parsley and more Parmesan if desired.
