
Ingredients:
- 1 kilogram mackerel fish or any kind of fish
- 1 cup ripe tamarind fruit or fresh
- 1 cup sliced pork fats
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 medium onion
- 2 thumbsize ginger
- rock salt
- ¼ cup vinegar
- whole peppercorns
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 500ml water or more
- 4 pcs red chilies
- 3 pcs long green pepper
Methods:
Cut both sides of the fish.
In a pan, add tamarind fruit, pork fats and fish. Then add the other ingredients listed. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes. Add water if necessary and 1 tsp sugar. Cover and simmer for another 15 minutes.
