Ingredients
For the Steak
1 Tomahawk steak (about 2 to 2.5 inches thick)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp coarse salt
1 tbsp black pepper
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
2 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, smashed
Fresh rosemary or thyme (optional)
For the Lobster Tail
2 large lobster tails
4 tbsp melted butter
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp paprika
Pinch of salt & pepper
Directions
- Prepare the Steak
Let the steak sit at room temperature for 30–45 minutes.
Rub the steak with olive oil, then season generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
Heat a grill or heavy skillet (cast iron) over high heat.
Sear the steak 3–4 minutes per side until nicely browned.
Add butter, garlic, and rosemary to the pan and baste the steak for 1–2 minutes.
