How To Prepare Smashed Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients

4 cups fresh Brussels sprouts

Olive oil

1/2 tsp pink Himalayan salt

1/2 tsp thyme

1/2 tsp garlic–sea salt–rosemary blend (or any similar seasoning)

1/2 cup mozzarella cheese

Locatelli or Parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions

Clean the Brussels sprouts and boil them for about 10 minutes, or until they’re fork-tender.

Drain well and transfer to a baking dish.

Drizzle with olive oil and season with pink salt, thyme, and your seasoning blend. Toss to coat.

Gently smash the sprouts with the back of a spoon or a cup.

Sprinkle evenly with mozzarella and a generous amount of Locatelli or Parmesan.

Bake at 425°F for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden.
