Ingredients
12 oz spaghetti
1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized cubes
2 cups baby broccoli (broccolini), trimmed
Salt, black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup whole milk
1¼ cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Optional: red pepper flakes, fresh parsley, cracked black pepper
Directions
- Cook the pasta and baby broccoli:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook until al dente. During the last 2–3 minutes of cooking, add baby broccoli to the pot. Drain and set aside, reserving ½ cup pasta water. - Sear the steak:
Season steak cubes generously with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak for 3–5 minutes, until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove and set aside. - Make the creamy Alfredo sauce:
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and milk, stirring to combine. Simmer 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened, then stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. - Combine everything:
Add cooked spaghetti, baby broccoli, and seared steak to the skillet. Toss gently to coat everything evenly in the creamy sauce. Use reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce if needed. - Garnish and serve:
Top with fresh parsley, cracked black pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve hot and enjoy the perfect combination of creamy, savory, and fresh flavors.
