How to prepare No-Knead Cranberry Nut Bread

Ingredients:

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 ½ tsp salt

1 tsp baking powder

2 tsp sugar or honey

1 ½ cups warm water

1 ½ cups dried cranberries

½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans

1 tsp instant yeast (optional, for a lighter texture)

Directions:

Mix the dough:
In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, baking powder, sugar, and yeast if using.
Stir in cranberries and nuts.
Add warm water gradually, stirring until a sticky dough forms.

First rest:
Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel and let the dough rest 12–18 hours at room temperature.

Preheat oven:
Place a Dutch oven or heavy pot with lid in the oven. Preheat to 450°F (230°C).

Shape & bake:
Dust the dough lightly with flour.
Carefully transfer dough into the preheated pot.
Cover and bake 30 minutes, then uncover and bake an additional 15–20 minutes until golden brown and crusty.

Cool:
Remove from oven and let cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.

Total Time: 13–18 hours (including resting),
