- Ground beef, 400 g (preferably 80/20)
- Salt, 1 tsp
- Black pepper, 1/2 tsp
- Garlic powder, 1/2 tsp
- Onion powder, 1/2 tsp
- Cheddar cheese slices, 4
- Brioche or sesame buns, 2
- Butter, 1 tbsp for toasting buns
- Lettuce leaves, 2
- Tomato slices, 4
- Pickles, 4–6 slices
- Ketchup, 1 tbsp
- Mayonnaise, 1 tbsp
- Mustard, 1 tsp
Instructions
- Divide ground beef into 4 equal patties; season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high and sear patties for 2–3 minutes per side.
- Place a cheese slice on each patty during the last minute and cover to melt.
- Toast buns with butter until golden.
- Assemble: spread ketchup, mayo, and mustard on buns. Add lettuce, tomato, two patties stacked, and pickles.
- Close and serve immediately.
