Surf and Turf Loaded Fries!

Crispy fries loaded with juicy steak, succulent shrimp, and melted cheese — this is the ultimate comfort food masterpiece! Perfect for parties, game day, or anytime you want a show-stopping meal that brings restaurant vibes straight to your home


Ingredients

For the fries

  • 600 g French fries (frozen or homemade)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp paprika

For the steak

  • 250 g steak (sirloin, ribeye, or flank), cut into small strips
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp butter

For the shrimp

  • 200 g shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp butter

Cheese & toppings

  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 tbsp green onions, chopped
  • Optional: sour cream, spicy mayo, jalapeños

Preparation

1️⃣ Cook the fries

  1. Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. Toss fries with olive oil, salt, and paprika.
  3. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until crispy and golden.

2️⃣ Prepare the steak

  1. Season steak strips with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. Heat butter in a pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook steak for 3–4 minutes until browned. Remove from heat.

3️⃣ Prepare the shrimp

  1. Season shrimp with salt, paprika, and chili powder.
  2. In the same pan, melt butter and cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through.

4️⃣ Assemble and melt

  1. Place cooked fries in a large oven-safe dish.
  2. Add steak, shrimp, and sprinkle mozzarella + cheddar cheese.
  3. Return to oven for 5 minutes until the cheese melts.

5️⃣ Garnish & serve

  • Top with green onions, jalapeños, sour cream, or spicy mayo if desired.
  • Serve immediately while hot and gooey!
