Ingredients
For the Beef & Pasta:
1 lb ground beef
12 oz pasta (spaghetti, penne, or rotini)
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups fresh spinach
2 tbsp olive oil or butter
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt & black pepper, to taste
For the Garlic Parmesan Cream Sauce:
1½ cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 oz cream cheese (optional for extra creaminess)
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
Optional Garnish:
Fresh parsley
Extra Parmesan
Cracked black pepper
Instructions
Step 1: Brown the Beef
In a large pot or deep skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
Add ground beef and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Cook until browned, breaking it into crumbles. Remove excess grease if necessary.
Step 2: Sauté Garlic & Spinach
Add garlic to the beef and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
Stir in fresh spinach and cook until wilted.
Step 3: Add Pasta & Liquids
Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir to combine.
Add uncooked pasta directly to the pot.
Step 4: Simmer Until Pasta is Tender
Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until pasta is al dente and the sauce has thickened (usually 10–12 minutes).
Step 5: Finish with Cheese
Stir in Parmesan and cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
Adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
Step 6: Serve & Garnish
Plate hot pasta with beef and spinach. Top with extra Parmesan, parsley, and a dash of cracked black pepper.
