Ingredients
• All-purpose flour: 1 cup (125g)
• Cocoa powder: ½ cup (50g)
• Sugar: ½ cup (100g)
• Baking powder: 1 tsp
• Baking soda: ½ tsp
• Salt: a pinch
• Eggs: 2
• Milk: ½ cup (120ml)
• Vegetable oil: ¼ cup (60ml)

• Melted butter (optional for richness): 2 tbsp
• Hot water or hot coffee (for deeper chocolate flavor): 3 tbsp
Instructions
Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl until fully combined.
In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, oil, vanilla, and melted butter.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix gently until smooth.
Add the hot water or hot coffee last and mix to activate the cocoa and form a silky batter.
Scoop or pipe the batter into your greased donut pan, filling each cavity halfway.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 10–12 minutes until the donuts spring back when touched.
Let cool completely before glazing.
