Classic Full English Breakfast – The Ultimate Morning Feast

A Full English Breakfast is the perfect way to start the day — hearty, satisfying, and packed with flavors. From crispy bacon and golden sausages to soft eggs, sautéed mushrooms, tender baked beans, and buttered toast, every bite brings comfort and warmth. Whether for weekends, special mornings, or brunch with family, this traditional British breakfast never disappoints.

Ingredients (Serves 1–2)

2 eggs

2–3 strips of bacon

2 breakfast sausages

1 cup baked beans

1 tomato, cut in half

1 cup mushrooms, sliced

2 slices of toast or bread

1–2 hash browns (optional)

1 tbsp butter or oil

Salt & black pepper to taste

Instructions

Prepare the beans:
Pour the baked beans into a small saucepan and heat on low. Stir occasionally until warm.

Cook the meat:

Heat butter or oil in a large pan over medium heat.

Add sausages and cook until browned on all sides and cooked through.

Add bacon and fry until crispy.

Add the vegetables:

In the same pan, add mushrooms and cook until tender and slightly golden.

Place tomato halves cut-side down in the pan and cook until lightly softened.

Cook the eggs:

In a separate small pan, add a little butter/oil.

Fry the eggs sunny-side up (or to your preferred doneness).

Season with salt and pepper.

Toast the bread:
Toast the bread slices and spread lightly with butter.

Optional:
If using hash browns, fry or bake them until golden and crispy.

Assemble the plate:
Arrange the sausages, bacon, eggs, mushrooms, tomato, beans, toast, and hash browns on a large plate.
