Ingredients You’ll Need
Proteins:
1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced
1 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined
1 tbsp olive oil (plus more for cooking)
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin
½ tsp garlic powder
Salt & freshly ground black pepper
Tortillas:
8–12 small corn or flour tortillas
Toppings (Mix & Match!)
Shredded lettuce
Diced tomatoes
Diced red onion (optional)
Fresh cilantro, chopped
Shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or Mexican blend)
Sour cream or Greek yogurt
Lime wedges
How to Make These Tasty Tacos
1️⃣ Flavor the Stars
In a bowl, toss steak + shrimp with olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt & pepper .
Mix well until everything is evenly coated.
Let rest for 10 minutes while prepping toppings.
2️⃣ Cook the Steak
Heat a splash of olive oil in a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat .
Add steak in a single layer (cook in batches if needed).
Cook 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your liking .
Remove from skillet and set aside.
3️⃣ Cook the Shrimp
Add a little more olive oil to the skillet .
Add shrimp and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink, juicy, and opaque .
Remove from heat.
4️⃣ Warm the Tortillas
Warm tortillas in a dry skillet, microwave, or directly over a low flame for a charred effect .
5️⃣ Assemble the Tacos
Fill each tortilla with steak and shrimp.
Top with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cilantro, cheese, sour cream, and lime juice .
