Cranberry Fluff

Light, creamy, fruity, and full of holiday cheer! Cranberry Fluff is a classic sweet side dish or dessert that combines tart cranberries with fluffy whipped topping, soft marshmallows, and juicy pineapple. Every bite is refreshing and sweet with just the right hint of tang — perfect for Thanksgiving, Christmas, potlucks, or any family gathering.

Ingredients

1 (12 oz / 340 g) bag fresh cranberries

1 cup granulated sugar

1 can (20 oz / 565 g) crushed pineapple, drained

2 cups mini marshmallows

1 cup chopped pecans (optional)

2 cups whipped topping (Cool Whip or similar)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cranberries:
Rinse the cranberries, then place them in a food processor and pulse until finely chopped.
  2. Sweeten:
Transfer chopped cranberries to a mixing bowl and stir in the granulated sugar.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
(This step allows the cranberries to soften and release their juices.)
  3. Combine ingredients:
After chilling, add the drained crushed pineapple, mini marshmallows, and chopped pecans (if using). Mix well.
  4. Make it fluffy:
Gently fold in the whipped topping until everything is nicely combined and creamy.
  5. Chill before serving:
Cover and refrigerate for 1–2 hours to let the flavors blend and texture get fluffy. Serving Tips

Serve cold in bowls or as a sweet side dish on holiday plates.

Garnish with extra chopped pecans or fresh cranberries for decoration.

Storage

Keep refrigerated for up to 3 days.

Do not freeze — freezing changes the texture of the whipped topping and marshmallows.
